OpenCompany · Glattbrugg, Switzerland

A software company built on intention.

We're a small collective of independent builders. Before we write code, we write down why a thing should exist — and who it's for. Then we build it properly, and keep it.

What we stand for

Values you can check us against.

Not a mission statement on a wall. These are the standards we hold ourselves to — and the reason we work the way we do.

01

Purpose before product

Every project starts with a written reason to exist. If we can't say who it serves and what it changes, we don't build it.

02

Honest by default

Fair pricing, plain language, no dark patterns, no lock-in. If a tool needs tricks to keep customers, it isn't a good tool.

03

Built to last

We'd rather ship one thing that keeps working than five things that impress and break. Software should be a fixture, not a fad.

04

People over titles

No departments, no hierarchy theatre. Contribution is what counts, and no project should ever depend on one person being available.

05

Ethics we can name

We work within a clear ethical framework — we don't take work that harms people, and we say so plainly instead of hiding behind neutrality.

06

Quietly Swiss

Registered, hosted and governed here. Serious about privacy and data handling, without turning it into a marketing slogan.

Selected work

Four things we're building.

Some are running with customers today. Some are early. We label them honestly — a concept that says it's a concept is worth more than a launch we can't back up.

bookingBot

Live · in pilot

Appointment booking that happens inside WhatsApp — no app to install, nothing new to learn.

Customers book by sending a message the way they already do. The business gets a full dashboard for bookings, reminders and billing. Currently running with barbershops in pilot.

wakeelAlpha

In development

Automation for Swiss trustee offices, built around one promise: nothing gets lost.

Incoming mail and scans are captured, de-duplicated, classified and routed to the right client file — so a busy office stops relying on memory and sticky notes. First pilot in preparation.

webSmith

Concept

A complete, responsive website from a plain description of your business.

Built for owners who need a professional presence but can't justify an agency — and designed to connect with bookingBot so the site can take bookings from day one. Early exploration.

Imlana

Concept

Voice dictation that keeps your words in Switzerland — and keeps nothing else.

Speech processing stays in Swiss data centres with no server-side retention. Built for people who think in more than one language, including dialect and mid-sentence switching. In early self-use.

How we're built

A company shaped by how it works, not how it looks.

01

Independent, by design

Everyone here works through their own business. We collaborate because we choose to — not because we're on someone's payroll.

02

Shared, not siloed

People move between projects where they add the most. Knowledge spreads, and no single person becomes a point of failure.

03

Sustainable by default

We plan for holidays, rest and ordinary life. A company that needs people to burn out isn't a company worth building.

04

Accountable to each other

Every project has a clear owner and clear contributors. Responsibility is named, not diffuse.

Who we are

A collective, not a headcount.

We're builders who each run our own independent practice and choose to work together under one shared intention. Small on purpose — small enough that everyone knows exactly what everyone else is working on.

Makers We build what we run

The people who design a tool are the people who maintain it and answer when it breaks. No handover to a team you'll never meet.

Partners Independent by choice

Every member works through their own business. We collaborate on the strength of the work, not the weight of a contract.

Owners Named responsibility

Every project has a clear owner and clear contributors. If something is wrong, there is exactly one person whose job it is to fix it.
